It is the season of rebirth, resurrection and growth! I am sending out prayers for blessings to all during this week and truly hope you spend time celebrating with those that are of most importance to you. Enjoy your family traditions or start something new! Either way, the Cucchiara family wishes you a Happy Easter!

UNICO Scholarship Dinner—This year our chapter was able to give away $58,500 in scholarships to stu-dents pursuing their post-secondary education. Our first opportunity to celebrate these recipients will be Wednesday May 21st at the Jewel Event Space. UNICO invites all winners to have dinner with us and our membership and bring their families. UNICAN’s are welcome to bring any guests, but guests are not free for this event.

We are currently in process of migrating our website over to a new platform. The new platform provides us with more flexibility and functionality, You will likely see changes as your navigate our page, and this does include our family business page that is currently getting rebuilt. If you are navigating the website and notice anything else we are missing from the previous site let me know.

We are also working to support local community events on our event page. However, we want to distin-guish a UNICO event from other un-affiliated events on our site, so you will see differences in how these are displayed.

Heritage Committee—Heritage Committee is working hard bringing more to light about us, our families, and our stories. Please check out the UNICO Heritage Page on the website at your earliest opportunity. They are always looking for additional cultural stories and/or recipes to share, so if you have something you would like to add please let us know.

Jasper Mirabile is hosting monthly dinner adventures where you can learn to prepare some of their Italian specialties. There will be a new dinner each month, so follow the link to our events page for more infor-mation.

Festa Italiana—Please mark your calendars for all 3 days. We have so much to enjoy and celebrate, and we will most certainly need support with volunteers. Entertainment is already up on our site, so please share with your friends and family!

Bring a potential member—The April monthly meeting is a great time to bring a potential member with you as your guest to dinner. Our Chapter covers the dinner expense for all 1st time guests you have invit-ed as a potential member.
